THE WORLD’S FIRST JUSTICE LEAGUE: ALIEN INVASION 3D RIDE NOW OPEN AT WARNER BROS. MOVIE WORLD
OXENFORD, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA (Friday 21 September 2012) – Warner Bros. Movie World on Australia’s Gold Coast, in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Entertainment, today launched the $9 million dollar world-first interactive ride, Justice League: Alien Invasion 3D.
Warner Bros. Movie World guests will face the most epic battle of their lives as they come under alien attack on this world-first Justice League-themed interactive ride which will feature a mix of state-of-the-art animatronics and 3D technology.
Village Roadshow Theme Parks Chief Executive Officer Tim Fisher said, “This is a spectacular ride experience like nothing else in Australia. Superman, Batman and a league of DC Comics Super Heroes will join guests as they use their 3D laser blasters to stun their way through cities which have been overrun by the evil villain, Starro the Conqueror.”
“One of the ride’s best features is that it’s very interactive, keeping track of each rider’s alien stun score so they can not only track their progress, but test their blasting skills against their fellow riders.”
“Justice League: Alien Invasion 3D is the perfect fit for Warner Bros. Movie World as it combines the hugely popular DC Entertainment Justice League franchise with a ride jam-packed with action and 3D thrills the whole family will love.”
“This is another world-first ride for Warner Bros. Movie World and we are confident it will help to continue the park’s very successful tradition of providing world-class Hollywood-themed entertainment,” Fisher added.
Featuring nearly 200m of track, eight huge 3D screens, 16 state-of-the-art animatronic characters, and 20 themed cars, each seating four riders and all contained within a 2000-sqm facility, Justice League: Alien Invasion 3D is sure to be a huge hit with Movie World visitors.
